RECAP:  Over 60 CSI members and students from Cal Poly Pomona turned out to hear an excellent Presentation by Tony Leyds, President of Land Solutions.  Richard Contreras, a partner of Land Conservancy, also attended.  Tony presented a comprehensive look at the future of landscape design.

California's lack of water resources is growing and many schools, universities, municipalities and corporations are looking at ways to rethink landscape design to incorporate alternatives to sprinkler systems, lawns and live plants.  The audience had many questions on specifying the materials presented and were captured by the versatility of the products and their installation, life cycles, and cost.   Our thanks to Tony and Richard for an excellent presentation that was enjoyed by all.
