Greetings to All
As we find ourselves now mid-year 2015, I reflect on the two past years in serving as the IECSI Chapter President with many good memories!
I feel that many good things have taken place for the chapter such as all the great efforts and cooperation that went into the past months programs and events such as Dean Vlahos’s captivating presentation on Forensic Architecture in Texas and our successful Product Show event at Thompson Building Products. Many thanks to all of the Committee that made the Thompson Building Products a great event and special thanks to Lessly Amaya, with Thompson for all her wonderful efforts in helping us.
Other good things to happen are our Board of Directors working to implement goals from our planning sessions, and now with new Board members, to help keep the chapter growing toward a healthy future. A key part of this growth will be to continue to involve college and university students with our CSI Chapter activities. Their inclusion now will build for future professional relationships.
A big thank you to all Chapter members and Board members I have served with, Kevin Lundberg, Richard Gonser, Marcia Faulk, Mario Vialobos, Fred Diamond and Eric Stovner who have given of their time to make my Presidency a privilege in which to serve. Special thanks go to Kathy Greenway and Jan Piccola who have given generously of their time to mentor me in my presidential duties!
Once again thank you to everyone for the past two years as I now move into an advisory role and ask that you join me congratulating the new incoming Board members and in welcoming Mario Vialobos as your new chapter President!
